Internal Web Pages

This section introduces using the Internal Web Page to operate the FOX3 matrix switcher,
including:
The matrix can be configured through its LAN port, connected via a LAN or WAN, using a
web browser such as the Microsoft

the proxy server in the web browser. In Microsoft Internet Explorer, click Tools >
Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings, uncheck the Use a proxy
server... box, and then click OK.
Connect the FOX3 device to a LAN or WAN using the rear panel RJ-45 LAN connector
(see
figure 2
on page 8).
Open a web browser on a PC connected on the same LAN or WAN.
Enter the FOX3 Matrix IP address in the browser Address field.
NOTE: If the local system administrators have not changed the value, the factory-
specified default is 192.168.254.254.
Press the <Enter> key on the keyboard.
The FOX3 is password protected. Enter a user name (user or admin) in the Username
field and the password in the Password field when prompted (see
page 41).
NOTE: The factory configured passwords for all accounts on this device have
been set to the device serial number. In the event of a complete system reset, the
passwords convert to the default, which is extron for the Admin and User (see
Roles and Permissions Panel
