Connections Options
The FOX3 Matrix Switcher can be configured and controlled using SIS commands or PCS.
Configure and control the FOX3 remotely via a host computer or other device (such as a
control system) by connecting to the rear panel RS-232 port, LAN port, or the front panel
USB Config port of the FOX3 device via an SSH (Secure Shell) client on port 22023.
Rear Panel RS-232 Port
The FOX3 Matrix Switcher rear panel RS-232 port (see figure 2,
connected to a host device such as a computer running the DataViewer utility, or a control
system. This port makes serial control of the switcher possible.
The default protocol for the port is as follows:
