Connecting to PCS

The Extron Product Configuration Software window opens with the Device
Discovery panel open. Connect to the switcher using the Device Discovery panel or the
TCP/IP panel (see figure 15).

Device Discovery Panel

The Device Discovery panel displays accessible Extron devices connected directly to the
PC or to a LAN or WAN. Devices are identified and sorted by model, IP address, device
name, or connection method.

To edit the IP address:

Open the Product Configuration Software program from the desktop shortcut.
The Extron PCS window opens to the Device Discovery panel (see figure 15).

Select the FOX3 Matrix device by clicking on it to highlight it in the list (

Click on the Edit button (

Communication Settings box opens.
Click in the field to edit (see figure 16) .
Click Apply to complete and close.
Alternatively, click Apply and Connect
to complete and connect to the device.
Click Cancel to close the box without
changes.
