Power supply

The device is provided with an internal fuse and is protected against polarity reversal. The functional
earthing terminal is connected exclusively to the connector cover and not to the 0 V. The housing is
made from plastic and is isolated. The device power supply is not electrically isolated.
The device requires a 24 VDC power supply from an AC/DC converter with safe isolation (SELV). For
other power supply requirements see Chapter 9.5.1 Power supply,
SELV (safety extra low voltage):
Circuit in which no dangerous voltage is present, even in the event of a single fault.
