3-11 ENGINE
● Turn the magneto rotor until the "T" line on the
magneto rotor is aligned with the triangle mark on
the crankcase.
NOTE
Before removing the camshaft housing, the piston
must be at TDC of the compression stroke.
● Remove the cam chain guide ①
housing ② .
● Remove the dowel pins, intake camshaft ③
exhaust camshaft ④ .
NOTE
Do not drop the dowel pins and camshaft drive
chain into the crankcase.
● Remove the four cylinder head bolts in diagonal
stages.
