● Remove the crankshaft from the crankcase using
the special tool.
Crankcase separator : 09920-13120

CAUTION
Identify the position of each removed part.
Organize the parts in their respective group (for
example, exhaust or intake) so that they can be
installed in their original positions.

● Remove the tappets ①
by using a magnet.
● Compress the valve springs, and then remove the
valve cotters from the valve stem using the special
tools.
