If a user role password is lost, the user can skip the configuration file, and then access the

CLI to configure a new password.

If password recovery capability is disabled, console users must restore the factory-default
configuration before they can configure new passwords.
To enhance system security, disable password recovery capability.
To enable or disable password recovery capability:
