Ground Wire Connection

WARNING
Extreme care must be taken when attaching the ground connectors to the
utility (earth) ground rod. If the ground is interrupted or disturbed in any
way, an unsafe condition will exist. Refer to the National Electrical Code
(NEC) and state/local codes for details on grounding requirements.
Complete the ground connection by completing the following steps:
1. Remove the rubber grommet from the housing (see Step 1 in
2. Insert a 6 AWG solid copper ground wire through the rubber grommet (see Step 2 in
3. Reinsert the rubber grommet with the ground wire back in the ONT housing (see Step 3
