Ensure on discharge side that:
• All pipes and fittings are adequately dimensioned to reduce pressure losses and to with-
stand the maximum operating pressure of the pump.
• A gate valve is fitted to regulate delivery flow.
• A check-valve is mounted against possible water hammer and, especially, in presence of
differences in height and long pipeline.
• Anchorages and supports to prevent damages and possible breakage of delivery flange
are properly secured.
