Control functions
1. The ventilation unit is controlled from the ILTO Premium panel
(normal operating modes: At Home/Away/Boost).
2. The supply air temperature can be set from the ILTO Premium panel.
3. Summer operation: The outside air bypasses the heat exchanger
when the room temperature is higher than its preset max. permissible
temperature (T8) and when the temperature of the outside air (T1) is
higher than 13 °C and is lower than the preset room temperature. The
fans are controlled to operate at the speed selected for the Summer
night cooling function.
Interlockings and protective functions
4. Automatic thawing function: If the IR light-beam connection of
the photocell is interrupted or if the anti-frost protection (T2) is
enabled, the supply air fan in the ventilation unit decelerates and
the extract air fan continues to operate at the "At Home" speed.
The light-emitting diode on the ILTO Premium panel flashes green
when the anti-frost protection is enabled.
5. Air reheater, overheating protection: The air reheater is equipped
with an automatic overheating protection that interrupts the power
supplied to the air heater (TZ1 with a limit setting of 55 °C) and
an overheating protection that must be reset manually (TZ2 with a
limit setting of 95 °C).
6. The fans have automatic overheating protections.

7. If the pressure loss across the supply air filter increases too much
(preset value: 175 Pa), and if the unit has a filter guard (PDA), this
condition is indicated by an LED with a steady red glow and the text
"Change filter" appears on the ILTO Premium panel.
Measures to be taken in the event of tripped protective
functions
8. If the overheating protection for reheating (TZ2) trips, acknowl-
edge the alarm by pressing the reset button under the junction box
of the unit.
9. The automatic overheating protection of the fan will reset itself
when the temperature has dropped below the setpoint.
10. The filter guard alarm will vanish when the filters have been
changed and the ventilation unit has operated for one hour in the
At Home mode.
