Humidity control
When the humidity sensor detects a relative humidity that is higher
than the preset value, the fans are forced to operate at a higher speed.
Control with a carbon dioxide sensor
The power levels of the fans are controlled according to readings
measured on the carbon dioxide sensor. The fan power is controlled
to the AWAY, AT HOME or BOOST settings depending on the carbon
dioxide content. The factory settings are for the AWAY setting on the
Premium panel ≤ 700 ppm (parts per million) and for the BOOST
setting ≥ 900 ppm. An ILTO carbon dioxide sensor with relay can also
be used for switching in boosted operation based on measurements
of the carbon dioxide content.
Filter guard
A factory-fitted filter guard monitors the condition of the supply air
filter and reacts when the filter becomes fouled. The need for filter
change is shown on the control panel. Filter change is indicated for
normal airflow only (At Home setting).

The functions of the control system
When the power is switched on, the ventilation unit starts up in the
AT HOME setting. The unit must run for about one minute to make
the temperature uniform before it is possible to select a function
in the controller. Likewise after a power failure, the ventilation unit
starts up in the AT HOME setting, if the memory has lost its content
during the power failure.
The in-service fan speed, weekday, time and status of the quick-
action button for the fireplace function as well as a selection menu
are shown in the base display of the ventilation unit control panel.
The LED on the control panel indicates the various functions of the
ventilation unit with various colour codes:
1. A green steady shine indicates that the unit is operating normally.
2. A green flashing LED indicates that the defrosting function (photocell
or temperature sensor) is in service.
3. A flashing orange LED indicates that the electric air heater is enabled.
4. A steady orange glow indicates that the heat exchanger has been
bypassed (Summer bypass).
5. A red flashing LED indicates that the fans have been switched off
by the automatic protection function due to a malfunction (not if
the user stops the ventilation unit).
6. A steady red glowing LED is shown in the event of an alarm or if
the service reminder indicates that servicing is required.
The colour on the LED of the control panel is determined by above
mentioned functions having the following priority: 5 / 6 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 1.
