Installation site

■ Weather-compensated operation
Installation in any room.
■ Operation with room temperature
hook-up
– On an internal wall in the main living
room, approx. 1.5 m from the floor.
– Away from windows or doors.
– Not above radiators.
– Not near heat sources (direct sun-
light, fireplace, TV set etc.).

Installing and connecting the Vitotrol 300B

Please note
Electronic assemblies can be
damaged by electrostatic dis-
charge.
Prior to commencing any work,
touch earthed objects, such as
heating or water pipes to dis-
charge static loads.

Installation sequence

Do not install further control devices in
this room. If the radiators are equipped
with thermostatic valves, these must
always be fully opened.
Note
If the Vitotrol 300B cannot be installed in
a suitable location, connect the room
temperature sensor, part no. 7438 537,
available as an accessory.
