Never allow the sensors to remain dry in their
fitting during operational pauses. Sensors need
to be stored in a dry place and protected from
moisture in their original packaging. You can
obtain preservative for the sensors from your
dealer. If you have no preservative, add swim‐
ming pool water to the sensor cover and store
the sensors in their original packaging. The
service life of the sensors depends on their use
and care. They have a service life of 3 years
with normal use. Their service life can be
reduced to a few months with the use of poor
preservative or abnormal use. The sensors will
not function during the following season if these
precautions are not taken.
The metering pumps also need to be pre‐
served. Let clean water run through the pump
hose. Disconnect and drain the hoses in the
event of frost. Remove the pump hoses from
the pump. The pumps will not function during
the following season if these precautions are
not taken.
