Replacing a tape, CD-ROM or floppy drive

This section describes how to replace a media drive (tape, CD-ROM, or
floppy drive) in the media drive carrier.

To replace a media drive

Remove the media drive carrier from the chassis (see "Removing
the media drive carrier from the chassis" on page 145).

Remove the faulty drive from the media drive carrier and save the
screws (see the diagrams that follow).
Note: To remove the tape drive or CD-ROM drive, you must first
remove the floppy drive.
