desired stations again.
Preset scan
The radio receives each memorized pre-
set station (frequency) for 10 seconds. To
start a preset scan, press the "SCAN" but-
ton during radio reception. To stop the
preset scan, press the "SCAN" button
again.
Local seek function
LOCAL
You can turn the local seek function on or
off during FM or AM reception by pressing
the "LOCAL" button.

NOTE
Make sure to always insert a disc
with the label side up. If you insert a
disc with the label side down, it might
be ejected or the player might shut off.
After the last track finishes, the play-
er will automatically return to track 1
(the first track on the disc).
The CD player is designed to be able
to play music CD-Rs and CD-RWs.
However, unsuitable recording proper-
ties,
unsuitable
scratches, dirt, and other factors may
render it unable to play certain discs of
these types.
Also, the CD player cannot play any
CD-R or CD-RW that has not been final-
ized (processed for playability in a nor-
mal CD player).
The CD player cannot play CD-ROMs
and MP3 CDs.
The CD player cannot display CD
text.

To play back a compact disc
When a CD is not in the player
Hold a disc with a finger in the center hole
and your thumb against the outer edge of
the disc, then insert it into the slot (with the
label side up). The player will automatical-
ly pull the disc into position.
During CD playback, the display will show
the track number.
A single CD (8 cm/3 inch CD) may also be
used without any adapter.
