the tracks on the disc in a random order.
The display will show "RDM", and all of the
tracks on the disc will be played in a ran-
dom order.
To cancel random playback, press the
"RPT" button again for at least one sec-
ond. The "RDM" indication will go off, and
the normal playback mode will be re-
sumed.
NOTE
Random playback will be cancelled if
you perform either of the following
steps:
Eject the CD.
Select the repeat-play mode.
To eject a CD
To eject a CD, press the "
Playback will stop, and the CD will auto-
matically be ejected.
NOTE
Do not drive the vehicle with a CD
sticking out of the slot; vibration could
make it fall out.
It is possible to eject a CD with the ig-
nition switch in the "LOCK" position.
If you do not remove an ejected CD
from the slot within 15 seconds, it will
automatically be drawn back into the
player and the ejection will be can-
celled.

al CD changer is connected)
An optional CD changer can be connected
to the audio unit. We recommend that you
contact your SUBARU dealer for more in-
formation.

To start playback
Press the "CHR" button. Playback will be-
gin. The display shows "CHR", and the
disc number and track number will be dis-
played.
NOTE
If the "CHR" button is pressed dur-
ing a radio broadcast, the CD changer
will interrupt the broadcast.
At the end of the disc, playback auto-
matically continues with the next disc.
After playback on the last disc finish-
es, the player will automatically return
to the first disc.
If you have loaded fewer than 10
discs, any missing disc is automatical-
ly skipped.
If the magazine has not been fitted
