FM/AM selection button
Push the "FM" or "AM" button when the ra-
dio is on to select FM1, FM2, or AM recep-
tion.

the tuning button marked "
crease it.
Each time the button is pressed, the fre-
quency changes 0.1 MHz in the FM mode
and 9 kHz (5 kHz*) in the AM mode.
*: For left-hand drive vehicles: The tuning fre-
quency interval can be set to either 9 kHz or 5
kHz to suit the broadcasting area. Refer to
"Tuning frequency interval change function for
AM waveband (left-hand drive vehicles)".

Select the tuning frequency interval (9 kHz
or 5 kHz) that is appropriate for the broad-
casting area where the radio is used. To
select an interval of 9 kHz, press the "1"
preset button for three seconds while
pressing the "AM" button. The display will
show "9 kHz step".
To select an interval of 5 kHz, press the
"2" preset button for three seconds while
pressing the "AM" button. The display will
show "5 kHz step".
Seek tuning (SEEK)
Push the tuning button for at least a
half second.
The radio will seek the next available sta-
