D About the transmit power levels

• When an external DC power cable (13.5 V DC) is
connected, or a BP-271/BP-272/BP-307 is used:
Approximately 5 W (High)/2.5 W (Mid)/
1.0 W (Low2)/0.5 W (Low1)/0.1 W (S-Low)
• When the BP-273 is used:
Approximately 0.1 W (S-Low) (fixed)
NOTE: When using the BP-273, you can select
"S-Low," "Low1," "Low2," "Mid," or "High."
However, "SLO" is displayed while transmitting,
and the output power is limited to approximately
0.1 watts.

■ FM Radio operation

Select "<<FM Radio ON>>."
• Returns to the standby screen, and the FM RADIO
window is displayed.

TIP: To turn OFF the FM Radio, push [QUICK], and then
select "<<FM Radio OFF>>."

■ Lock function

Activate to prevent accidental frequency changes and unnecessary function access.
Hold down [
] for 1 second to turn ON the Key Lock function.
• When the Key Lock function is ON, and the locked key or [DIAL] is pushed or rotated, "LOCK
ON" is displayed.

• To turn OFF the function, hold down [LOCK] for 1 second again (Until "LOCK OFF" is
displayed).
• [ ], [PTT], [SQL], and [VOL] can be used even if the Key Lock function is ON.
• You can change the keys to be locked on the MENU screen.
([MENU] > SET > Function > Key Lock)
