Once the air pressure switch is cleaned and re-assembled, the pressure switch must be adjusted.
Install the switch into the MAC valve manifold, leaving the red and black wires loose. Using a Tee,
install an air pressure regulator with gauge into the air supply line to the pneumatic valve box and
adjust it to 90 PSI.
Connect a multimeter set to the red and black wires of the air pressure switch and select "Continuity"
on the multimeter. Using the 3/32" Allen key, adjust the needle in until the multimeter shows
continuity between the red and black wires. Remove the multimeter and air pressure regulator, then
connect the air pressure switch wires and re-assemble the pneumatic valve box.

Auto-Dump System (optional)

The optional auto-dump system on the W
potentiometers mounted on the arm and forks to monitor their position. These components are
monitored by the control system, which is programmed to activate four MAC pneumatic valves,
referred to as Speed Coils 1, 2, 3, and 4, that have preset pressures. The Speed Coils are connected to
the pneumatic system and provide air pressure to two additional sets (qty. 2 each) of MAC
pneumatic valves, which specifically control the auto-dump arm up, arm down, fork up and fork down
functions. When the auto-dump cycle is started at ground level to dump a container, the hydraulic
valve shift rate is varied through the use of potentiometers, programming and Speed Coils to control
the speed and position of the arms and forks through their mid-height, full dump, and return of the
container to the ground. The regulated pressures on the Speed Coils are as follows:
 Speed 1 - 45 PSI
 Speed 2 - 50 PSI
 Speed 3 - 59 PSI
 Speed 4 - 90 PSI

Auto-Dump Calibration Procedure

Auto-Dump calibration is required if the IFM control module is replaced or reprogrammed or if an
audible beep is not consistently heard in the cab after each cycle, indicating that position parameters
have not been met. Calibration may be performed via the control system display screen. To perform
system calibration, the Curotto container (if equipped) must be removed.
To calibrate the Auto-Dump system via the control system display screen, do the following:
1.
With the arms and forks in the lowered (down) position, access the menu screen on the control
display, and select "Auto-Dump Calibration".
2.
Follow the on-screen instructions to cycle the forks all the way up, then the arms all the way up.
3.
When the display screen asks you to save the parameters, select "Yes".
This will save the calibration parameters for the Auto-Dump sequence.
4.
Install the Curotto container back on to the unit, if applicable.
No further calibration is required.
