Auxiliary Controls (optional)

Auxiliary controls, if installed on your unit, are located outside, directly behind the cab on the street
side (see Figure 6-6). For these controls to be enabled, the operator must press the Auxiliary Controls
switch on the control panel (see Figure 6-7).
Auxiliary controls include a dual handle joystick (see Figure 6-6) to operate both the forks and the
arms and a packer control station to operate the packer (see Figure 6-6). A throttle advance switch
(or speed-up) is also provided to speed up the packing process and the raising/lowering of the arms
(see Figure 6-6).

Speed-Up Switch (optional)

Located on the in-cab control panel, this switch (see Figure 6-8) engages/disengages the optional
speed-up feature which is used to increase the engine speed up to 1500 RPM whenever a pack or an
auto-pack cycle is initiated.
When the speed-up feature is activated, either ON or AUTO, the corresponding part of the switch
turns green.
