Securing Tailgate Safety Pins

The tailgate safety pins ensure that the tailgate can not be open accidentally. These pins must be in
place unless you are unloading refuse or servicing the tailgate. Remember these two critical points:
 Before operating the W
[see Figure 2-10].
D Switch on the in-cab control panel, close the tailgate completely.
