3.2.4 HYDRAULIC TIPPER SYSTEM

Hydraulic tipping system serves in automatic unloading of trailer by tipping the load box to the
rear. The hydraulic tipping system is supplied with oil from the tractor's hydraulic system.
Hydraulic oil selective control valve of the tractor's external hydraulic system is used to
control the load box tipping mechanism. Depending on the suspension system in the trailer,
the two versions of the tipping system are available:
• The tandem hydraulic tipping system - Figure (3.8),
• The bogie hydraulic tipping system - Figure (3.9).
These systems consist of two separate circuits:
• circuit (A) - to supply the trailer hydraulic cylinder (tandem), or to supply the trailer
hydraulic cylinder and trailer suspension lock cylinder (bogie).
