Drive Motor Brushes Replacement

This procedure provides instruction to replace the Drive Motor Brushes.

Procedure

Review entire procedure before starting.
1. Switch the treadmill power "OFF" and
2. Remove the hood.
3. Use a flat blade screw driver to remove the drive motor brush cover.
4. Remove the brush from the brush holder.
5. Slide the replacement brush into the brush holder. Be sure that the edge of the brush
is inserted so that the brush face makes full contact with the motor commutator.
6. Push the brush spring and cable down against the brush. Then quickly press the
cover into place.
7. Repeat procedure and replace the remaining drive motor brush.

8. Plug in the machine power cord and switch the power "ON".

Disconnect a device power cord plug or cable connector from the power receptacle or out-
let.

Device power cord connector or electrical cable male connector that is inserted into an
electrical receptacle "outlet" (also called the plug-in).
