CALIBRATION GUIDE
Motor must be off but unit plugged in.

Computer must be on.
3.
Install fresh unused cutting tips on the cutting arms.
4.
Select "i" on screen.
5.
Select "Calibrate lathe."
Properly place the 0.800" / 20.32mm calibration block between the cutting

tips as shown on screen.
7.
Select "Okay."
8.
Confirm or press "Yes."
9.
Select "Home."
Remove the calibration block from the cutting arms/tips.
10.
Adjust cutting arms out 10 thousandths per arm.

Reposition the 0.800" / 20.32mm calibration block between the tips and turn
the cutting arms until tips contact the block.
13.
The correct thickness (0.800" / 20.32mm) should register on the screen.
- If YES, remove block, clean it and safely store it away.
- If NO, repeat the procedure. Be sure to use the proper orientation
of the block when measuring the cutting tip distance.
*Note: There is one pair of faces on the gage block which is NOT 0.800".
Be very careful to not use this pair when calibrating the cutting head.
