TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM
No water
delivery.
Low or irregular
pressure.
Motor suddenly
stops.
Pressure
fluctuations or
pressure drop.
Motor does not
start when
switched on.
Motor hums
when trigger
operated and
does not start.
Motor cuts out.
Additives are not
being supplied.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
Water filter blocked.
Clogged lance nozzle.
Insufficient water supply.
Pump taking in air.
Detergent inlet sucking in
air.
Water filter dirty.
Water temperature is too
high
Thermal protection has
activated due to
overheating.
Shortage of water.
No water due to clogged
inlet filter.
Plug is not connected
properly.
Mains fuse tripped/blown.
Mains voltage too low.
Motor protection switch
has been activated.
Nozzle partly clogged.
Detergent container is
empty.
High Pressure is selected.
SOLUTION
See cleaning the water filter.
Clean the nozzle.
Check connections.
Check connections.
Check connections and that
detergent supply is topped up.
Clean or replace.
Make sure the water supply is below 40
degrees.
Switch off the machine and wait until
the unit has cooled down sufficiently.
Turn water tap on fully.
Clean water inlet filter.
Check plug and lead and have them
replaced by a qualified electrician if
necessary.
Renew fuse or reset.
Have electrical connection checked.
Switch off and allow to cool for at least
15 minutes.
Clean using the supplied nozzle
cleaning needle.
Fill detergent container.
Set the lance to LOW pressure.
