9.8 Restoring the configuration of the components if a part is replaced
Passwords
The passwords when replacing a component can be obtained from Siemens customer service.
When replacing passwords, use strong passwords corresponding to the following conventions:
• The password must have at least 8 characters.
• The password must include upper- and lower-case letters.
• The password must include special characters.
• The password must include numbers.
Precondition
• PG/PC with TIA Portal V15, the corresponding files and network card
• LAN cable
• An IP address in the range 192.168.0.201 up to 192.168.0.250 is configured at the PG/PC
network card.
• TIA Portal is opened in the project view.
• The password for CPU access protection is known.
• The password for the web interface of the SIPLUS CMS1200 SM1281 is known.
• The replacement part for SIPLUS CMS1200 SM1281 has firmware V3.0.6. If a higher
firmware version is installed, then you must downgrade to V3.0.6.
Restoring the configuration for CPU SIMATIC S7-1212C DC/DC/DC
1. Open the sensor box at the motor. For the UL version of the connectivity module, follow the
instructions provided in ChapterOnly UL version: Opening and closing the sensor box door
(Page 25).
2. On the CPU, open the cover
3. Withdraw the LAN cable from the LAN interface of the CPU.
4. Connect the LAN cable at the LAN interface of the CPU and the PG/PC to establish a direct
physical connection with the PG/PC.
5. Open or dearchive the TIA project "SC600_release_v.x.x.x.zap15" (Project > Dearchive).
6. In the device configuration of the CPU, open "Properties > General > Protection and Security".
7. Select access level "No access (complete protection)".
8. Enter the password that you obtained from SIEMENS customer service.
9. Confirm the password that you entered and save the project.
10.Load the hardware configuration to the CPU.
When requested to do so, enter the password specified under step 8.
11.Load the software to the CPU.
When requested to do so, enter the password specified under step 8.
12.Withdraw the LAN cable to connect to the PG/PC.
13.Reconnect the internal LAN cable to the LAN interface of the CPU.
