Connecting the protective conductor
1. Crimp the cable lug onto the protective conductor.
2. Firmly connect the cable lug to the protective conductor connection
the M4 thread.
3. Connect the protective conductor with the protective conductor connection at the IPC
installation location.
Connecting the power supply
1. Switch off the 24 V power supply.
2. Connect the insulated conductors of the power supply to the terminals included.
3. Insert the terminal at connection
Connecting the LAN cable
1. Route the LAN cable to the installation location of the IPC.
2. Route the LAN cable to the IPC.
Note
Maintain the permissible cable bending radius. Route the cables so that they do not come
into contact with any sharp edges.
Route the LAN cable so it is protected against unauthorized access in areas that have physical
access protection.
3. Connect the LAN cable for the connection to the sensor box at interface "X2 P1"
4. Connect the LAN cable for the connection to the company network/Internet at interface "X1
P1"
5. Switch on the 24 V DC power supply for the IPC.
