NOTE: The factory default passwords are 2222 for level 2, 3333 for level 3 and 4444 for level 4. The operator level is stored
in volatile memory so it is lost on power-down and returns to the default, level 1, on power-up.
To gain all levels of data access and data entry, enter Operator Level 4. The password can be any four digit number, but for
this example use the factory default of 4444 .
CAUTION
The level 4 configuration access security codes (password) must be changed from the factory default. This is done to
protect against network destruction by someone inadvertently modifying the configurations. Modifying the
configurations is for stand-alone applications only. Never use this feature in conjunction with CARE/LiveCARE
because collisions can occur when accessing points from the front end device and concurrently using the HHT. These
collisions will cause the destruction of the CARE database.
Enter a value of 4 as the new operator level, the cursor drops down to Password? . Enter 4444 for the password and then
press the Enter key. If the password is correct for the operator level requested, the operator is returned to the MAIN MENU
screen.
