Alarm Log
Select the Alarm Log menu item under the ALARMS menu and then press the Enter key. The ALARM LOG displays the five
most recent alarms with the most recent alarm on top. Each alarm that has returned to normal is preceded by the word Rtn: .
Press the Refresh key to refresh the ALARM LOG display. The operator uses the Up/Down Arrow keys to scroll down to
display the rest of the alarms in the ALARM LOG list (if more than 3 alarms exist). The following is an example of the
ALARM LOG display.

Test Mode
The test mode allows the operator to put the Excel 10 controller into a mode which allows the control of the outputs directly to
either determine the controller worthiness without full configuration or for checkout/diagnostics after configuration.
NOTES: If the hardware test of the Excel 10 controller was initiated with a clip or jumper, then the HHT will not be able to
command the outputs through the Test Mode.
When exiting the Test Mode, the Excel 10 controller will go through the startup wait mode.
For the operator to choose the Test Mode menu item the Service Excel 10 menu item must be selected from the MAIN
MENU . From the SERVICE EXCEL 10 menu, select the Test Mode menu item and then press the Enter key. The HHT
displays the following screen containing four sub-menu items.

Select the Damper menu item from the TEST MODE Main Menu and then press the Enter key. The HHT displays the
following screen containing two sub-menu items.
