Performing a Firmware Update via USB Stick

Note: Up-to-date firmware files are available on the support pages on the
Auerswald homepage (Internet address: www.auerswald.de).
The operation and configuration instructions of the telephone also describe
further variants of the firmware update.
Requirements
– The firmware file (*.rom) which is saved on a USB stick
Steps to Take
1.
Insert the USB memory stick in the jack labelled with
side of the telephone.
2.
Subsequently, tap on the elements All apps > Settings > Update & Pro-
visioning.
3.
Tap on the name of the firmware file (e.g. comf3500_v12f.rom).
Further Steps
If the description of the new function is missing after the installation of func-
tional extensions by means of a firmware update, you will be granted
access to the current instructions on the support pages on the Auerswald
homepage (Internet address: www.auerswald.de).
In order to use the new features after a firmware update of the telephone,
an update of the PBX firmware is often necessary (see PBX operation
instructions).

ory stick, this file will be displayed under Update from USB stick an-
gezeigt.
The telephone performs the firmware update and subsequently re-
