Important: You can download current firmware files from the Internet. (see

The Operation Guide of the telephone describes further alternatives of per-
forming a firmware update.
Requirements
– Firmware file (*.rom) saved on a micro-SD/SDHC card
– Micro-SD/SDHC card inserted into slot

> Settings > Update & provisioning.
The message Update is installed, please wait... appears while the
firmware file is loaded into the telephone.
Restart later: The firmware will be activated the next time you restart the
telephone ( > Settings > Shutdown/Reboot > Reboot).
Restart now: The telephone restarts immediately and the new firmware
is activated.
