3.3.3. ISDN (ISDN models only)

The ISDN menu supports the following:
configuration of the ISDN interface.

3.3.3.1.

ISDN Settings

a) Local Phone No. #1
Allows you to set the ISDN number for the P56x.
b) Origination Phone No.
Allows you to define the ISDN number for incoming calls. If set the P56x compares
this number with the incoming telephone call.
c) Destination Phone No.
Allows you to set the ISDN number of the connection partner.
d) Channel Bundling
Here the mode channel bundling can be set. In this case the two B-Channels will be
combined to a transfer rate of 128kBits/s.
This setting has to be equal for both, Encoder and Decoder. In this mode the P56x
uses the synchronization mode 'MusicTaxi'.
e) Bitrate
Displays the bitrate depending on the configuration with channel bundling
(128kBits/s) or without channel bundling (64kBits/s).

Cyclic Connection Test
Checks the telephone connection periodically as defined in Phone No. and Call
Interval [h].
Call Interval configuration options:[1][2]...[48]

ISDN Status

Displays the actual status of the current ISDN connection.

3.3.4. SNMP

The SNMP menu allows you to change the SNMP settings and to enable/disable the
SNMP Traps. Up to 6 SNMP Trap Destinations can be defined.
Trap routines can be monitored using any Trap Receiver and MIB browser.
