The position of the contact lens is shown in the
"Position" field:
R/L:
positive stands for right, negative for left,
U/D:
positive for up and negative for down,
Incl.:
inclination angle of the contact lens.
The change of position resulting from the movement
(shifting/rotation) of the contact lens is continuously
tracked in this field.

7.5.3.2.3 Setting Contact Lens Parameters / [Details]

Clicking the [Details] button opens up a menu for
setting additional contact lens parameters. The menu
is positioned such that the manufacturer and lens

Contact lens parameters are classified as pertaining
either to the Basis curve or the Periphery.
Changing parameters of the periphery only makes
sense if the "Manufacturer" field has been set to
"Mathematic" because the peripheral geometry of
normal lenses is fixed.
For an explanation of parameters of the periphery
see also 7.5.4.3.1 page 67.
The calculated tilt of the lens is displayed in the "Tilt"
field.
Any shift or rotation (inclination) of the contact lens is
shown numerically in the "Position" field (see top of
this page).
The symbol
indicates the orientation of the flat
meridian.
[Quit] exits the [Details] function and leads back to
"Contact lens fitting".

Definition of inclination angle
The inclination angle is
the angle between the
horizontal plane and the
markers of the contact
lens (e.g. -5°).
The
sign
does
not
coincide with that of the
