The "Print" menu function permits the screen
contents of the moment to be printed out at the
printer, so that any displays which are available for
selection can also be printed out.
The user can go on working with the program during
printout, since the printout runs "in the background".
To ensure that measurements are as exact as
possible, reference data must be saved before the
first
examination
of
approximately once a month.
Note: ⇒ Reference data must be saved for both right
and left reflector position separately.
The reference globe (r=8,000mm) which is included
in delivery makes this step uncomplicated and rapid.
However, the Easygraph should be turned on
approximately 15 minutes before the reference
measurement. Fix the reference globe as shown in
the illustration.
The following service functions are contained in the
"Miscellaneous" menu:
• Test Communication:
This function tests the communication between
the PC and the Easygraph.
• Set Shutter:
Here it is possible to set the exposure time of the
CCD camera of the Easygraph.

If the "Print" switch is set to "B/W" (see 7.5.4, page

white; this speeds up the printing process and saves
printing ink.

The Easygraph Measurement System

• Clean
the
measurement (e.g. with alcohol).
• Fasten the immobilization arm on the combination
chin and forehead rest.
• Carry out a measurement using the reference
globe (cf. 7.5.1 page 21).
• Activate the function "Save Reference Table" in
the "Miscellaneous" menu after performing the
measurement.
• Answer the question "Save Reference Table?"
with [OK].
• We recommend to check the reference table.
Carry out one more measurement with the
reference globe.
The data must be 8,00 ± 0,03 mm
• After saving the reference table turn the reflector
into the position for the other eye and save the
reference table for the other eye. The correct
assignment happens automatically corresponding
to the reflector position.
For the second reference table we recommend to
carry out one more measurement too.
The reference data is now been saved.
Note: ⇒ If the following error message appears:
"Measurement was not complete!", then the globe
should again be carefully cleaned and a new
measurement carried out.
• Set Ports:
This function makes it possible to turn on and off
the illumination of the rings and the Keratometer
test marks.
