Under this menu item the display mode of the meters can be set.
The following measurement types are available:
Input level

For detailed information on the various meter settings and display types, refer to chapter
Meters on page 48.
Under this menu item, sources which are not needed can be deactivated.
Deactivated sources can no longer be called up using the source buttons on the device
and the remote control.
After calling up this menu item with the

Each source is followed by a remark indicating whether the source is activated (ena-
bled) or deactivated (disabled).
This menu item allows you to set the analog outputs (ANALOG OUT 1 and 2) to a fixed
output level (LINE), or to an variable output level (VARIABLE) that can be adjusted using
the volume buttons on the remote control and the volume knob on the DAC 200.
For operation in combination with active loudspeakers or a power amplifier, e.g. the
A 200, use only the VARIABLE setting.
Otherwise, it may lead to overloading and resulting damage of the
connected loudspeakers.
Here you can adjust the brightness of the display during normal operation to your
personal preferences in 9 steps.
Here you can set whether the display will be switched on permanently or only tempora-
rily, when the device is being operated.
If the setting temporary is selected, the display is switched on during operation of the
DAC 200 only and then automatically switched off again after a short delay.
If the Always ON setting is selected, the display remains permanently on.
Under this menu item you can adjust the brightness of the status LEDs and the
brightness and illumination color of the meters to your personal preferences.
Select the menu item Default colours to reset the displays to the default settings.
