14.1 Purge Switch

Press the purge switch (Option Switch 1) located on the front of the robot or on the switchbox (optional).
Press the purge switch to turn the dispenser ON, release it to turn the dispenser OFF.
However, if [Dispenser Mode] is set to [Timer] and [Dispenser Type] is set to [Busy Signal Operation] or
to [Finish Signal Operation], pressing the purge switch will initiate the following operation:
The dispenser turns ON according to the time set for it. This is repeated while the purge switch is
pressed. Dispensing continues until the time set on the timer runs out even if the purge switch is
released before the time runs out.

Press the MENU key and select [Dispenser].
The selection screen for the dispenser's
settable items appears as shown on the right.
Select [Purge Switch] and then select the item
you want to set.
• Constant Valid
The purge operation is executed regardless of the robot's status when the purge switch is pressed.
(Do not push the purge switch during a dispensing operation in a run. The dispensing operation will
not be able to be performed properly.)
• Invalid During Run
The purge operation is not executed when the robot is running even if the purge switch is pressed.
• Constant Invalid
The purge operation is not executed even if the switch is pressed regardless of the robot's status.
