Installation
Escaping test medium.
Risk of slipping.

Remove protective caps only directly prior to the installation.
▶
Immediately remove spilled oil.
Incorrect connection of electrical components.
Risk of short-circuit and damage!

Connect electrical components according to the electric circuit diagram and
pinout.
Missing seals and plugs!
Fluids and foreign particles can enter and destroy the product.
▶
Prior to the installation make sure that all seals and plugs of connections are
tight.
Insufficient installation space!
Risk of damage to components! Due to inaccessibility, the installation or
replacement of components can be rendered impossible or made difficult.
Components cannot be properly installed or may be damaged.

Make sure that there is sufficient installation space. The dimensions of the punching
systems can be found in Table 15 "Dimensions and weights" on page 30.
Condensation in the housing!
Risk of short-circuit!

Let the HNC100 acclimate itself for several hours, as otherwise water may
condense in the housing.
The housing of the HNC100 is perforated. According to the specified protection
class, dirt and fluids may easily enter and cause malfunction and short-circuit! The
reliable operation of the HNC100 is thus no longer ensured.

When working on the HNC100, observe strictest cleanliness and make sure that
no fluids will enter the housing.
Major potential differences!
Risk of destruction of the HNC100 by plugging or unplugging connectors under
voltage.
▶
Switch off power supply to the relevant system part before installing the unit or
plugging or unplugging connectors.
Before starting to install the system, have the following documents at hand:
• Hydraulic circuit diagram for the system (made available by the machine
manufacturer)
• Data sheet for the SYEHL punching axis (contains the technical data)
• Order confirmation (contains the preset data of the SYEPS punching system)
