1.
Connect MP hydraulically with MT using a minimum line cross-section of 10 mm.
On the variants "Advanced" and "Standard" remove the minimess fittings at MP.
This results in a hydraulic short-circuit to tank that allows flushing at high flow
with a low pressure drop.
2.
Close the accumulator discharge valves. Open switches "LP on" and "HP on"
and switch the motor on (star/delta startup).
HP and LP are ≈30 bar
3.
Check the oil cleanliness using the measuring instrument described above and
flush the system until the required cleanliness class is achieved. If no measuring
instrument is available, flushing is required over the above-mentioned flushing
time – 1 h. While flushing, open and close the accumulator discharge valve
KSDER item 1-72 cyclically at least 10 times.
1.
Switch the hydraulic system off. Check that the system is depressurized and
remove the hydraulic connection between MT and MP. Properly close the test
ports MT and MP. On the "Advanced" and "Standard" variants, install minimess
fittings at MP. The tightening torques can be found on the installation drawing.
2.
Switch the motor on (star/delta startup).
HP and LP are ≈30 bar
3.
Close switches "LP on" and "HP on".
HP will rise to 85 bar, LP to 80 bar.
4.
Set a stroke length of 38 mm by setting R423 POP to 39.000 mm and R425
PUP to 1.00 mm. Set R454 "new mode" to 34 and initiate punching strokes at a
frequency of 2 Hz via IN 2 as described in Chapter 9 "Operation" on page 81 .
In this operating state, let the axis oscillate for 45 min.
5.
Let the test program run for 30 min with long strokes and punching cycles at
maximum stroke frequency. The optimum solution would be a machine test
program that cyclically tests all axis functions of the punching axis.

8.1.13 Removing the flushing valve and mounting the original pilot valve

To be able to change the pilot valve, depressurize the system. See Chapter 2.6
"Product-specific safety instructions" on page 12, and 9.1 "Switch-on sequence"
on page 81. Before loosening the mounting screws, connect pressure gauges to
MND and MHD/MP to check that the system is really depressurized. When mounting
the pilot valve, see to it that the mounting screws are tightened crosswise applying
the correct tightening torque as specified on the installation drawing.
