11.5.5 LP accumulator
After having mounted the new accumulator, don't forget to fill the accumulator with
gas and check the gas pressure, see Chapter 10.2.5 "Check of gas charge pressure"
on page 111.
11.5.6 HP accumulator
After having mounted the new accumulator, don't forget to fill the accumulator with
gas and check the gas pressure, see Chapter 10.2.5 "Check of gas charge pressure"
on page 111.
11.5.7 Position measuring system
The position measuring system consists of a measuring head and a measuring tape.
Before replacing the position measuring system, check the anti-rotation device
consisting of pin and plate for damage and, if required, replace it.
NOTICE: Magnetic fields!

Keep the measuring system away from magnetic fields.
1.
Demount the measuring head.
2.
Remove the defective measuring tape from the pin.
3.
Free the pin from glue residues and degrease it.
4.
Position the new measuring tape flush with the positive stop and glue it on so
that it is placed centrally on the adhesive surface. It must be glued on straight
in order that it runs in parallel to the outer edges of the adhesive surface. The
measuring tape must not protrude.
5.
Press the measuring tape firmly on the surface.

Clean the mounting screws and apply Loctite 243.
2.
Mount the new measuring head with its mounting screws and tighten it so that it
can still be aligned.
3.
Place a feeler gauge with a thickness of 1 mm between the measuring head
and the measuring tape and press the measuring head firmly home so that the
measuring surface contacts the feeler gauge straight and over the full surface
and is pressed against the measuring tape.
4.
Tighten the mounting screws to the tightening torque specified on the
installation drawing.
5.
Remove the feeler gauge and check, whether the gap between the measuring
head and the measuring tape runs in parallel.
6.
Traverse the punching axis at low speed in open-loop-controlled operation in
operating mode 33 to check whether the 1-mm gap between the measuring head
and the measuring tape remains constant.
