Delayed Batch Transmission

Before sending the delayed faxes, your MFC will economize by sorting
all the documents in memory by destination and scheduled time. All
delayed faxes scheduled at the same tine to the same fax number will be
sent as one transmission.

Press Menu, 1, 3, 9.

to select ON (or OFF) and press Set.

Press Stop to exit.

Multiple Resolution Transmission

Use this feature to select separate resolution settings for each page of the
fax you're sending. This could be useful if you're sending a fax with
photos and letters, or some pages with small print and others with normal
print. Resolution settings return to STANDARD after the fax is sent.

Insert documents in the feeder or on the glass platten, then press
Menu, 1, 3, 4.

to select resolution for page 1, then press Set.

Repeat Step 2 for subsequent pages. Press Stop when you're
finished.

Press 1 if you want to select additional settings. The display returns
to the SETUP SEND menu ––OR–– Press 2 if you are finished
choosing settings, and go to Step 5.

Enter the fax number you're calling, and press Start.

Setup for Polling Transmit

Polling Transmit is when you set up your MFC to wait with a document
so another fax machine can retrieve it.

Place document in the feeder or on the glass platten.

Press Menu, 1, 3, 7.

The screen displays
POLLING:STANDARD
SELECT { } & SET

Press
or
to choose STANDARD.

Press Set. MFC will start scanning documents.
