To install the TPM adapter, complete the following steps:

Step 1.
Locate the TPM connector on the system board.
Step 2.
Insert the TPM adapter into the TPM connector on the system board.
Notes:
• Carefully handle the TPM adapter by its edges.
• Your TPM adapter might look slightly different from the illustration.

After installing the TPM adapter, complete the parts replacement. See "Complete the parts replacement" on
page 203.

Rear hot-swap drive cage replacement

Use this information to remove and install the rear hot-swap drive cage.
Note: The term "hot-swap drive" refers to all the supported types of 2.5-inch hot-swap hard disk drives and
hot-swap solid-state drives.
