Step 1.
Install the internal riser assembly and install the super capacitor on the internal riser assembly. See
"Install a super capacitor module on the M.2/riser support bracket" on page 168.
Step 2.
Align the pins and connectors of the internal riser assembly with the holes and connectors on the
chassis, and then secure the assembly in place.

Step 3.
Tighten the captive screw to further secure the assembly.
After installing the internal riser assembly, complete the parts replacement. See "Complete the parts
replacement" on page 203.
Riser card replacement
Use this information to remove and install a riser card.
For servers with riser assembly, it comes with one of the following riser assembly configurations:
