2.3 Confi guring the Local Console
Switch on the power on the rear of NCP-1716.
(It takes about 60 seconds to initialize the device. Please do not input any key while initalize the device

When you enter SETUP mode, any text on the screen temporarily disappears, and the main SETUP directory
appears. When you leave the SETUP mode, the main SETUP directory disappears, and any text that was
on the screen reappears.

Saving and exiting SETUP
The fi rst menu seen when entering SETUP mode serves as a directory to the other SETUP menus. When
you depress

in the nonvolatile memory before returning the terminal to the normal operating mode. If you don't save your
