The automatic paper tape cutter provides comfortable and secure receipt separation so that it
cuts the receipt tape and thus avoids accidental tear through printed text or printer damage. The
cutter type depends from the printer used in your cash register. Ask your authorised POS-3000
dealer for further information.
Any PC or POS keyboard can be connected to the POS-3000 cash register. You can pick among
several types of keyboards: PC keyboard, POS keyboard EK-3000 as well as other types of key-
boards, e. g. with built-in credit card reader.

Other accessories

OCTACOM stands are used to make servicing of POS-3000 clear and
easy. They are designed to enhance the capabilities of and simplify instal-
lation of EK-3000 keyboards and ECR display provided by Elcom com-
pany on any possible place. These stands allow you to place keyboards
and displays conveniently as for your personnel so for your customers.
OCTACOM stands are manufactured from light and durable alumini-
um alloy. There are four types of stands in standard height 19.5" (50 cm).
They are easily fitted to their base and easily adjustable in height.

POS-3000
The POS-3000 is able to communicate with PC via modem, stand-
ard or wireless network if equipped with proper PCMCIA devic-
es. Wireless networking has its advantages in its speed, convenience
of use, and other network capabilities depending on the PCMCIA
adapter type.
Ask your authorised POS-3000 dealer on further uses and applica-
tions of the communications adapter.
