justments are made by tapping the individual keys on the screen's virtual keyboard (best done
with the supplied stylus rather than the finger). The arrow keys on the virtual keyboard's right
margin serve to position the keyboard to screen's margins.

This menu offers database testing and repair functions.

Import of tables

The import of tables is performed
from the files stored on an inserted
PCMCIA memory card. There are se-
parate files for PLU and for customers.
If there are no such files on the inser-
ted memory card, the import window
will contain only inactive elements.
If the required files are located on the
memory card press the Import tables
button and the tables will be imported
into the POS memory. The Status window shows the import progress.

Export/Import PLU

After pressing this button, the export/import dialogue appears. The dialogue allows impor-
ting of Sage Line 50 files.
Flag descriptions:
• Export/Import file
POS–3000
– Every checked table in the group will be tested. By
checking Check all checkbox, all the tables will be
tested.
– Parameters for error handling after tests' completion.
– If the number of erroneous items in a table exceeds
this limit (in per cent), then the checked actions will
take place. Any combination can be selected.
– Information on number of errors in each table.
– This row shows the whole path, including the filename
of the file from/to which the import/export will take
