Procedure when moving sideways out of the seat

When moving sideways out of the seat, proceed as follows:
> Position the power wheelchair sideways
> Adjust the seat to the required height
> Switch the power wheelchair off
> Fold up  footrests
> Swing  armrest upwards
> Move from the seat
