1.7 Creating and Accessing Storage
Step 8 : The F3x00 is preconfigured with one volume that consumes the entire data storage capacity of
the device. If this is the desired configuration, proceed to step
9 (page
33). If more volumes
are needed, use the following procedure to first delete the existing volume, and then create new
volumes:
a. Select the checkbox beside the volume to be deleted:
b. Click the trash can icon to delete the volume:
c. Click the Create Volumes button:
d. At the Pool & Capacity step of the Create Volumes window, use the Select a Pool drop-
down menu to select the storage pool that will contain the new volume(s):
