Installation Guide
Important: The following steps require the host to have NVMe-CLI tool version 1.6 or later.
Step 9 : To identify the volume(s) on the network, log in to a host server that will use the storage
volume(s), and use the NVMe-CLI utility to issue the
nvme discover -t rdma -a <data path ip>
Step 10 : To connect to the volume(s), use the
nvme connect -t rdma -a <data path IP address> -n <Sub NQN of Volume>
Step 11 : To verify that the connection was successful, use the
nvme list
Step 12 : To disconnect the volume(s) (in the event that it's necessary), use the
nvme disconnect -d /dev/<nvme device name>
Note: This step assumes Allow Any Host is enabled or a specific host was defined
at an earlier point.
Note: Other disconnect options are as follows:
nvme disconnect -n <Sub NQN of Volume>
nvme disconnect-all
