    The mass divided by the resulting volume is known as the “tap” or “tapped” density of the material. The GeoPyc 1365 T.A.P. software was produced for measurement of bulk density with a standard GeoPyc instrument. Settling of bulk materials is achieved by chamber agitation and piston pressure.
