4-5-8. A/D AGC Video Level Adjustment
Preparations
. Turn on the main power of the MAV-555A and measuring equipment. Wait for at least 30 minutes
before starting any adjustments.
. Measure the output level of signal generator and check that the signal level stays within the specifica-
tions.
Specifications : A = 714 ± 3.5 mV : 525/60 mode
A = 700 ± 3.5 mV : 625/50 mode

Take note of this measurement value.
1. Select "A/D AGC Video Level" of the ADjuster2.
2. Input the 100% color bars signal from signal generator.
3. Change the set value of the level bar of the ADjuster2 using
puter or with a mouse. Click "Set" and confirm the pedestal level.
4. Repeat step 3 until the specifications are satisfied.
Specifications : A = Within the range of ± 3 mV of the output level measurement result from the
above-described signal generator.

5. Click "Write to EEPROM" of the ADjuster and save the set value.
